The small Liberian merchant ship, Yaga, of 524 tons, built in Holland in 1958, disappeared almost without a trace at the end of December 1974.
On 2 January 1975 news was confirmed that the remains found floating in Baleas de Tosto (a raft, a lifeboat, a radio telephone, a almost destroyed wooden skiff, and a ladder) belonged to the ship Yaga, which sank without anyone knowing what had happened to the crew.
