Huelva
Name: Huelva
Type: Coal freighter
Nationality : English
Date: 1885
Place: Percebera point (Camelle)
English coal freighter Huelva, of 4000 tons, crashed into Percebeira point in the middle of thick fog in summer 1885. Thanks to the dead calm of the sea, the 37 crew member could reach Camelle in their boats, where they were evacuated to A Coruña to be repatriated.
It is a natural place of extraordinary beauty for some, but for others the most atrocious bed they will remember for ever.
