Name: Starn Ann
Place: Laxe do Boi (Port de Camariñas)
In strange circumstances, the Starn Ann, a Greek merchant ship coming from Garruncha, in Almería, sailing to Larne (Ireland) loaded with graphite quartz mineral, became beached at seven in the evening, on the rock at the entrance to the port of Camariñas. The offer of help was refused by the captain.
After the rescue no crew member offered an explanation as to what had happened.
